Bio

Sarah Elliott is a graduate of Parson's School of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. In addition, she has also taken courses at Rhode Island School of Design and International Center of Photography.
Sarah has traveled extensively and is focused on photographing social issues. Stories include the effects of landmines in Cambodia, post election violence in Kenya and renewed fighting in DRC.
She has interned for James Nachtwey and assisted for Stanley Greene and is currently pursuing freelance opportunities. Sarah's photographs have been published by The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The International Herald Tribune, The Daily Telegraph, The Times, The Guardian, The Observer, Financial Times, Stern, Men's Vogue, Vanity Fair Italy, T: New York Times Style Magazine, Monocle, Arise Magazine, Abu Dhabi's The National, Grazia Magazine, BBC, MSF, CAFOD, Concern and the Red Cross.
Sarah is a founding member of Razon Collective, www.razoncolletive.com, an international group of visual storytellers pursuing stories independently, while sharing, inspiring and motivating each other. Sarah will be participating in the 2010 World Press Joop Swart Masterclass in Amsterdam in October.
